For those who prefer to soak up the sun while enjoying the array of marine life just below, snorkeling trips are available to many sites along the reef. Belize boasts 60% of its geography as either a natural park or protected area or to become one. Amongst these are Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, Tuffy, Mexico Rocks, Sandbar, Lighthouse Reef and The Great Blue Hole, to name a few.
